Editing Techniques in Clips

In the Beginning there is a use of Media within Media as the newspaper headline pops up and the action continues as Spiderman bursts through it. One shot is used to follow Spiderman as he swings through the air as it gives the effect that us as an audience are swinging with him to battle. As it gets onto Dr. Octavius the camera movement slows down which contrasts the rush of Spiderman to save someone to the calm and collectiveness of the villain. Jump cuts are used during the fighting scenes as it increases the pace and gives us as an audience alot of different motions to look at. Shot reverse shot is also used during the fighting scenes with the eyeline and creates both views of each character.
